Nitha Puthran serves as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Cloud, Infrastructure and Security Services at Persistent Systems. As a core member of the Persistent leadership team, she oversees the company’s global Infrastructure, Applications, Security and Cloud practices, driving strategy, growth and execution at scale.
A transformational business leader, Nitha brings over 25+years of global experience in designing and delivering end‑to‑end infrastructure, cloud and managed services solutions for strategic clients. She is widely recognized for building trusted CXO‑level advisory relationships and for partnering with the broader technology ecosystem to deliver differentiated, high‑value services and innovative engagement models.
Known for her out‑of‑the‑box thinking and execution excellence, Nitha has a proven track record of establishing and scaling global cloud and infrastructure businesses. She has successfully launched new practices, led large‑scale transformation programs, and built multi‑million‑dollar infrastructure portfolios across the IT services industry.
Prior to joining Persistent, Nitha played a pivotal role at Harman, where she led the Regional Sales organization and launched the Infrastructure and Cloud practice. Earlier in her career, she led the Global Infrastructure and Cloud business for Wipro’s BFSI vertical, bringing deep industry and services expertise from her tenure across leading global service providers.
Nitha holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Bombay (Mumbai). An accomplished speaker and respected industry voice, she is frequently sought after for her perspectives on business transformation, cloud and technology trends. She is also passionate about mentoring early‑career professionals and mid‑level leaders, helping them achieve their full potential.
Based in New Jersey, Nitha lives with her husband, Dilip. Their son, Chirag, is a budding management consultant and an accomplished marathon runner. Together, they share a passion for global travel, exploring cultures, cuisines and local ways of life.
