George Symons
George Symons is VP of Strategy for the Cloud, Infrastructure and Security practice at Persistent Systems. He came to Persistent through the acquisition of Sureline Systems, a supplier of cloud migration and disaster recovery software where he served as the COO. George has worked with both software and hardware vendors throughout his career and he has a proven track record of driving growth. He has held executive roles in product management, engineering, marketing, strategy and overall executive management in both small organizations and large public companies. In the past 20 years the organizations he has worked for have focused on enterprise IT solutions around infrastructure, storage, and security. Key roles include CTO for information management at EMC; CTO for Legato Systems; CEO roles at 3 startups in backup recovery, storage and hyperconverged systems; COO at Xiotech; CSO at Nexsan; as well as various product management and product marketing roles at Sun Microsystems.
Hansang Bae
Hansang is the Public Sector Chief Technologist at Zscaler where he supports public sector organizations in their mission to transform and modernize securely. Previously, Hansang held technology leadership roles at Netskope and Riverbed Technology and was a Citi Architecture and Technology Engineering team member. As one of the six global engineering leads, he was responsible for performance engineering, network management tools, and capacity planning groups for all of Citi. Hansang is a world-renown expert in packet analysis with contributions to Wireshark open-source development.

Jiani Zhang is President of the Alliance and Industrial Solution Unit at Persistent Systems. Prior to this role, Jiani was the General Manager of Industrial Sector for Persistent Systems. Jiani has extensive experience in management consulting, marketing, product development and technology management. She also holds expertise in building and growing a business with P&L responsibility and leading teams in business strategy, offering & product development, go-to-market, and sales execution. Prior to Persistent, Jiani has also served as Director of Offering Management for IBM Watson IoT Platform and Head of Offering Strategy for IBM Industrial IoT where she pioneered the creation of the Industrial Analytics/AI IoT solutions.

Jeffrey has been with Forrester since 2006. Prior to joining Forrester, Jeffrey worked at IBM, Rational Software, and was part of Accenture’s Advanced Systems Group.

Jeffrey holds a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
