As the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of Persistent Systems, Mr. Vinit Teredesai is responsible for Corporate Finance, Treasury, Financial Reporting, Taxation, Administration, Risk Management, Corporate Secretarial, ESG/Sustainability, Enterprise Information System (EIS) and Investor Relations functions.

Prior to joining Persistent in May 2024, Vinit has over 30 years of experience in the areas of corporate finance, international and domestic taxation and management accounting. He has worked with LTIMindtree, KPIT Technologies and his most recent role was with LTIMindtree where he was the Chief Financial Officer of the merged entity post the merger of L&T Infotech and Mindtree in 2022.

He is a Chartered Accountant, Cost and Works Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (USA) and has also completed a course in General Management from MIT Sloan School of Management, Cambridge Massachusetts, focusing on Strategy, Innovation and Technology. He has extensive experience in  corporate restructuring, M&A, deal structuring, ERP implementation, treasury, driving profitable growth initiatives and investor relations.

He has received several industry accolades, including the Best CFO Award for Large Enterprises from The Economic Times (ETCFO), the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI).

Vinit is married to Rashmi and they have two daughters.
