Position Title: Lead Software Engineer
Location: 1731 Technology Dr, Suite 700, San Jose, CA 95110
Position Responsibilities: Work on Design and implementation of automated testing frameworks using cutting-edge tools and technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes. Develop and maintain test scripts for continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Lead efforts in adopting AI-driven testing methodologies for enhanced test coverage. Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality. Conduct automation scripting using Java and Selenium. Participate in agile ceremonies to align testing strategies with development goals. Drive the implementation of performance testing to ensure system scalability. Implement API automation frameworks using REST Assured, improving API reliability and performance. Create comprehensive API testing suite improving test coverage. Implement behavior-driven development (BDD) practices using Cucumber and Gherkin, improving collaboration between developers, testers and business stakeholders, and reducing requirement misinterpretations. Contribute in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on each release of the project aligning to the end user requirements. Use Maven, Gradle build tools to manage framework dependency jar files. Contribute to strategic planning for long-term quality assurance initiatives. Design and implement automated testing frameworks for web and mobile applications. Execute test cases and report defects using JIRA, ensuring critical issues were addressed promptly. Maintain and update test scripts to adapt to changing application features. Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) for managing test automation code.
Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, PLUS two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related position. Experience must include demonstrable knowledge of: Selenium Web Driver; BDD; Java; Maven; Jenkins; Postman; SQL; UAT; Git; Integration & Regression Testing, and; Jira. Travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S., approximately 30%, as required. May telecommute from any location within the U.S.
