Persistent helps India’s NCRA share findings from space with the world
To help explore the limitless boundaries of outer space, Persistent is working with India’s National Centre for Radio Astrophysics to bring this information to scientists no matter where they are here on Earth. As Dr. Jayaram N. Chengalur says “The system Persistent has helped us develop is one of the important factors in making our telescope much easier to use. Earlier if you had to observe the GMRT you had to be physically here – now you can be sitting anywhere in the world, write your proposal and submit it, and if it is favorable approved reviewed, you will get your data and download it without ever having to leave your office.” We call that the power of Software 4.0!
