What is Network Performance?

Network performance is the measure of the service quality of a network as experienced by the user. It depends upon the nature and design of the network, and there are several methods for measuring network performance.

In the age of high-computing and 5G generation, communications service providers (CSPs) must proactively monitor network performance and quality of service to preserve a competitive advantage in an increasingly competitive market.

To determine the caliber of services the underlying computer network provides, network performance is the examination and assessment of collaborative network statistics. The process of measuring and defining a network’s performance level is both qualitative and quantitative.
